Frequently Asked Questions
How does Medicare coverage work?
Heavenly Tubs is a licensed Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider, and our hydrotherapy tubs are approved for Medicare reimbursement. To qualify, your healthcare provider must determine the tub is medically necessary and issue a prescription or Certificate of Medical Necessity. Once eligibility is confirmed through Medicare Part B, eligible individuals may receive up to 80% reimbursement on their purchase. Our team assists with the documentation and submission process. Contact us or your Medicare representative to verify your eligibility.
Understanding Medicare Coverage for Walk-In Tubs
Step 1: Consult Your Healthcare Provider
A licensed healthcare provider must determine that a portable walk-in hydrotherapy tub is medically necessary for your condition. This may apply to individuals with mobility challenges, arthritis, chronic pain, or other qualifying conditions.
Step 2: Obtain a Prescription
Your provider will issue a prescription or Certificate of Medical Necessity (CMN) documenting the medical need for the equipment.
Step 3: Verify Your Eligibility
Contact us or your Medicare representative to confirm your eligibility. Coverage typically falls under Medicare Part B, which covers Durable Medical Equipment prescribed for home use.
Step 4: Purchase Your Tub

Step 5: Submit for Reimbursement
We assist you with the documentation and submission process to help ensure a smooth reimbursement experience.
Important Medicare Details
Our hydrotherapy tubs are classified as Durable Medical Equipment (DME) under the product category "hydrotherapy tubs." Heavenly Tubs is a licensed DME provider in the state of Utah and is registered with Medicare.
To be eligible for Medicare coverage, the equipment must be prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider, be used in the patient's home, and serve a documented medical purpose. Beneficiaries should be aware that while Medicare may cover a significant portion of the cost, they may be responsible for deductibles, copayments, and any amounts exceeding the Medicare-approved amount.
Disclaimer: Medicare coverage is subject to individual eligibility, medical necessity determination, and applicable Medicare guidelines. Coverage amounts and eligibility may vary. Consult your healthcare provider and Medicare representative for personalized guidance.
What are the differences between the two tub models?
Both models feature 9 massage jets, a handheld shower, temperature control, two grab bars, NASA-grade seals, and slip-resistant flooring. The Paradise Standard is our classic model at 52"L x 29"W x 26.5"H with fill/drain hoses and power cord included. The Paradise Transfer is designed for wheelchair users and individuals with limited mobility — it features a wider door for easier lateral transfer, sits taller at 52"L x 26.5"W x 40"H, and uses an easy plug-in setup. Both weigh 110 lbs, hold approximately 40 gallons, and drain in 60 seconds or less.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Through our partnership with Foundation Financing, you can enjoy 6 months of no payments and no interest. This option is especially helpful for Medicare customers who want to start using their tub while waiting for reimbursement. We also offer $1,500 off your purchase when you pay upfront. Contact us to get pre-approved or to discuss which option works best for you.

How do I nominate someone for Heavenly Help?
Visit our Heavenly Help page and fill out the nomination form with the nominee's name, their branch of service or department, and a brief story explaining why they deserve support. You can nominate any veteran or first responder who could benefit from safe, independent bathing at home. We review nominations on a rolling basis and select recipients based on need and impact. If you are a veteran or first responder yourself, you can also share your own story directly.
Giving Back to Those Who Gave Everything
"Our program dedicated to honoring veterans and first responders with the gift of safe, independent bathing."
Too often, our aging veterans and first responders — true heroes — have not received the care and support they deserve. As their stories fade into history, they are sometimes forgotten. At Heavenly Tubs, we want to change that.
Through the Heavenly Help program, we share the stories of those who have served, raise funds to provide walk-in hydrotherapy tubs, and offer financial assistance to help ease the burden they have carried on behalf of all of us.
This is not repayment — nothing could ever fully repay what our veterans and first responders have given. But it is our way of showing gratitude, respect, and honor.
